Dickie starts with Nippon Ichiban along with the erudite Jeremy Pennington-Smythe. Distrust of these new recruits by the Japanese sets in motion a rollercoaster ride that eventually results in three contracts for their execution from a senior Director Ito san, the Yakusa and the Russians. Only the lowly assistant manager Suzuki san and the enigmatic Yakatori bar owner Shinji stand in the way of the boys and their grizzly fate. The Caligula Club has been run by Esther and Trewbridge aka Clarissa, godparents to Melissa, since the 1950’s and it has become one of the most powerful organisations on earth.
