I Answered the Call: Autobiography of Rev. AL Lyle Life, Ministry and Travels

Unknown Author
4.9/5 (21092 ratings)
Description:Autobiography of Rev. AL LyleWhile all history fascinates me, in the end, apostolic history is the only one that has eternal consequences. For this reason, I tremendously enjoyed reading my way through "I Answered the Call" by Reverend A. L. Lyle. His life represents an important segment of history of the American Pentecostal landscape that has transpired over the last 70 years. While all of God's children have a destiny and role to fulfill in the kingdom, Albert Lionel and Caroline Lyle are fulfilling theirs with great purpose and dignity. As I viewed some of the highlights of this man's life, I found myself copying out entire segments of our heritage that I had never heard before, or was made aware of in the greater detail. How invaluable that is! I would that every elder Apostolic Minister would take on the arduous duty of compiling their personal journey for all those that are following them and preaching this beautiful Acts 2:38 gospel. Pastor Larry Booker, Rialto CaliforniaEvery generation since the dawn of time has been shaped by the men who lived that era. Our generation is the product of many Apostolic preachers. One of the movers and shakers of the last 50 years is Reverend A. L. Lyle. He has left an indelible mark on our epoch. This record of his life gives us a view into the inside story of his remarkable journey. This book will bless any Apostolic with love of our unique history. It will behoove anyone who enjoys the pioneer Spirit of the last five decades. This is a story of a man with poor, humble beginnings who maximized his opportunities and abilities to become a household name of the apostolic word. Pastor Ken Bow, Lake Tappa, WA"How forcible are right words" (Job 6:25). A look back with an eye on the future is the story you now hold in your hands, we the readers are allowed to journey with the author as he walks down memory lane, pointing to victories won and lessons hard learned. Great men of "Pentecost Yesterday" from the pages of this book, yet speak again, words of undying truth which have ushered in the "Blessed Pentecost" we embrace today. Elder A. L. Lyle was their contemporary and respected friend, and with the telling of his story, revives the godly inspiring memory of their respective walk with god. What a treasure! I would that his book be required reading for all Apostolic preachers and saints: that we may never forget and it shall be, when the Lord shall... have brought thee into the land to give the great and goodly cities, which thou buildest not and houses full of good things, which thou fillest not and wells digged, which thou diggest not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantest not then thou shalt have eaten and be full then beware less thou forget the Lord." (Deuteronomy 6:10-12) How refreshing to read and better to have known of such a life lived. Pastor R. G. Garrett, Glendale, AZWe have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
