Before reading this book we all usually tend to believe what we perceive is accurate without too much doubt. Sure we know we may be wrong some of the time, but not most. After reading this book, you will be able to choose how to perceive life, how to make sense of it, and in doing so choose how to live life realistically grateful. We can decide what is factual. If you think your perceptions are right 90% of the time, chances are they are right 50% of the time. I find that my interpretations of life are right maybe 50% of the time. I just know that as humans, we start life perceiving events and life automatically. And, that it is safer, more sound, and more logical to assess situations more carefully to verify our assumptions before we draw conclusions and act on our beliefs from of our first perceptions. I have decided to be grateful in life despite having what could be considered good reasons to complain. I am dealing with PTSD from a very traumatic childhood, I have battled cancer, deal with arthritis, among other issues which would have been plenty of reason for me to just give up and complain full time. Also, despite having dyslexia I have written seven books. And, I started out in life with a victim mentality. I no longer have a victim mentality because of developing and using Perspective Shift Therapy in my own life. I am grateful for the many blessings I do have. Even though I do have some hardships I have decided life is easier and I am more successful at managing it when I am grateful.
