Having done away with racial and ethnic classifications, and only esoterically retaining national identities, earth, and the remaining late twenty-first century, industrialized nations, have formed a new world governing body called the World Council of Nations (WCN). It is to this body that all conflicts, matters of security, and other grievances are referred.Yet, this brief utopia of sorts came at a price: The aliens who brought mankind the technology that freed them from the need to hoard resources also brought with the ominous news that it all may come crashing down on them very soon, for hot on their tails was an enemy the likes of which mankind has never conceived: The Aggressors. Fearing their own demise, the Aggressors began a brutal and destructive march through the galaxy in an attempt to preemptively stamp out an enemy, prophesied in ancient scrolls, who would rid the galaxy of their tyranny once and for all.
