At the dawn a risen lark Pierced the clouds with such a lay, With such sweetness fill'd my brain, That I woke and saw the day. And I smelt the window rose, Heard the sharp bleat from the pen, Felt the living breeze blow in, And was one with living men. Love! I lose you once again--For the sad, wild dreams are flown That your face made yet so sweet--And I know I am alone. Then fast asleep I fell, and dream'd I waited by the door, And all was dawn; so bright a dawn I never saw before. 6. I wonder'd what I waited for So long, and could not tell--Suddenly, with a stroke of joy, My heart rang like a bell! 7. For oh, the babe! I thought I saw Her little spirit pass--Her little spirit all in white, Over the dewy grass---8. Over the dewy grass so light, Never a sound she made; Over the dewy grass so light, And never bent a blade. 9' Her feet like two small sunbeams slipp'd, They let no shadow fall, The dew-sparks glitter'd in the grass Like dancing diamonds all....We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
