The next 6 weeks included severe vision problems, balance issues, seizures, and brain fog. Mikey, Beka's husband, was serving in the US Army at the time of her diagnosis and was stationed in Germany. He was rushed home to take care of the children. She had 2 children at the time, an 18 month old and a 9 month old, and gave birth to her 3rd child 16 months after diagnosis.
