Description:The Life of John Birch, first published in 1954, is the story of American John Birch (1918-1945), who, while serving as a Baptist missionary in rural China, helped Colonel James Doolittle and several of his downed fliers to safety. He subsequently entered the U.S. Army as an intelligence officer under General Claire Chennault, and served for the next 3 years in the war against Japan.
