When he returned to his hometown after retiring he found that his childhood friend, Jack, was now Chief of D's in his hometown police force. Since returning home Tucker has been repeatedly solicited by Jack to help solve some very unusual crimes. This story is no exception. The title of the book comes from both the names of some local boats, as well as the names of some of Gloucester's mot colorful characters. As usual there is murder, mayhem and elaborate twists and turns leading to a quagmire filled with the mystery your author has come to be famous for creating. We hope you enjoy the ride. Your author is a 2nd generation American, born and raised in Gloucester, Mass. His father, Wm. Leon Stacks, was the acclaimed Impressionist artist of the Jack Kerouac Generation He's a graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine and a Graduate Fellow of U.N.F. He holds degrees in Psychology, Journalism and Applied Social Studies. Right after college he accepted a job at the Florida Keys Marine Institute (F.K.M.I.) where he taught Journalism, Marine Biology and Advanced underwater photography. He also taught beginning scuba to newly arriving students. In college he was the editor of his college newspaper, The Gargoyle. After college he was publisher and editor of Mile Marker Zero, a local Key West nautical newspaper. Barry has recently become a successful author. Rosie Crud, Johnny Handsome and Floyd is his 15th published novel. There are three more novels currently in the prepublication stages of development.
