Dr. Fink is.responsib1e for the continuing identifi cation of nci'$ research findings that are ready for-application in medical practice. She coordinates and organizes censensus forums on issues of public concern with scientists, practitioners and the general public in order to develop recommendations on practice-ready methods_and techniques for the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer. Two Task Forces were appointed during'the year to.examine organizational alternatives in order to complete the nci reorganization begun in 1978.
