T. Pendleton and J. C. Councill of the first class; take pleasure in bearing testimony to the zeal and fidelity with they have discharged their duties.In addition to instruction in mathematics, the superintendent had in charge the exercises of declamation and composition of second, third and fourth classes; and on the sabbath has taught first class in the evidences of Christianity, and the second class in Bible.
