First, energy and ease of expression are largely dependent upon a proper control of the respiratory organs; second, the cor rect training of these organs in early life and-their judicious exercise at all times, conduce to greater vigor of mind and body than is otherwise possible; and third, the natural sys tem of breathing during vocalization, reinforced by the teach ings of science, has-been found an almost absolute protection against all forms of lung and throat diseases.
