An important part of the Surveillance Program is a network of population based cancer reporting systems the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (seer) Program. Related efforts gather and disseminate information on cancer, cancer risk factors, and other elements of cancer control through a variety of reports. The Program also conducts studies on the organization, delivery, and financing of cancer prevention and control services, as well as on the economics of cancer.
