Lives littered with failure and success, happiness and sadness, illness and health, tragedy and triumph, disasters, certainty and uncertainty. "Life is life". The whole array of emotions, responsibilities and happenings. Happenings that sometimes are out for our control. In fact, I will go as far as to say that everyone's life when analysed on the day of judgement, will be viewed and summarized with so many similarities, it will be difficult to separate the so called failures to those considered as successes. The reason I have started on this critical and somewhat negative note, is because, all too often in life we face criticism for our actions and life decision making, from people on the sidelines, who seem to live their lives under the assumption that they have somehow cornered a monopoly on the way a life should be lead. Assuming correctness and perfection and with some kind of pompous self righteousness and belief that they somehow missed the unhappiness boat and unlike the rest of us sailed blindly into patronizing self-righteous oblivion. Scotty seems to be one of those lads who finds himself in all kinds of trouble no matter what he does. He always starts of with a simple and innocent plan, but he always seems to end up in strife. Is he one of those trouble kids or is he who we all want to be. In these days of over-protection and "molly-coddling" are our young people missing out and will that change people for good? Who knows, only time and results will tell.
