Muraco

4.9/5 (12545 ratings)
Description:Muraco is the second book in my series Crow Nation. Like all my books this is a clean story designed to give you a little glimpse into what it might have been like to be a Native American over 250 years ago; long before the white man invaded their territories and took their lands. Chief Muraco was a strong and well-liked chief of the Crow Nation in the mid-18th century. It was a time of many changes for the Native American when alliances were made and broken between the many different tribes. Journey back with me to discover all that they had to endure; love found and lost, and a hope of happiness yet to be seen. Chief Muraco finds himself entering a once dreaded enemy, the Comanche, village. He is not happy about this visit, but his sister, Mausi, told him it is what Akbaatatdia (the Creator) wanted. So, he makes the journey with his son, Kajika. However, if he knew what awaited him, he may not have fought against this journey so hard. Being a widower for so long had brought him loneliness and despair. Muraco watched as his loved ones all found a love to share their lives with. Was he too old to get another chance at love? Lomasi had a hard life after being captured and taken from her people, the Comanche, by the Kiowa when she was a young maiden. After suffering the loss of her child and not being able to give her Kiowa husband another, he trades her to an Apache Shaman. Her life becomes more bearable with the Apache, however after this husband is killed in a battle with the Cheyenne, Lomasi escapes and returns to her people. When Chief Muraco rides into the Comanche village, Lomasi sees him, and he steals her breath away. However, the Crow and Comanche had been bitter enemies in the past, so can these two lonely hearts find true happiness? Their story is truly an experience that will not only make you laugh, but cry, and leave you wanting more. This is a work of fiction, however many facts throughout the book are true as far as recorded history goes.We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
